There are several clinical presentations of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Among the severe forms, pulmonary involvement with respiratory failure is common. Although severe lung involvement with SARS-CoV-2 meets the Berlin criteria for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), it differs from classic ARDS in that compliance (reflecting distensibility of the lung parenchyma) is frequently preserved. If the interest of Electrical Impedance Tomography has been demonstrated in classical ARDS, this is not the case in ARDS with COVID-19. However, the use of this technique in this particular patient population would make it possible to distinguish patients with severe hypoxemia linked to derecruitment from those without derecruitment, in whom hypoxemia is more likely to be linked to the loss of hypoxic vasoconstriction.

In this 30-month study, the investigators propose to develop a culturally appropriate vaccine confidence intervention, targeting positive change related to HPV vaccine uptake behavior and reducing sentiments of hesitancy towards a COVID-19 vaccine, that can be seamlessly integrated into the existing environment of pediatric and family practice clinics in rural Alabama. To do so, the investigators will first assess stakeholders' knowledge, sentiments, and beliefs related to vaccination in general, a COVID-19 vaccination, and the HPV vaccination. The investigators will also assess stakeholders' perceptions of barriers to vaccination that exist in rural Alabama. This will occur in Aim 1. Then, in Aim 2, the investigators will use these data to inform the development of a non-invasive, modular synchronous counseling intervention targeting 15-17 year old adolescents (rationale for this age range presented later in this proposal). After the intervention has been finalized, in our final aim, Aim 3, we will conduct a hybrid type 1 effectiveness-implementation cluster randomized control trial to assess intervention acceptability and feasibility (N=4 clinics; N=120 adolescents), while also assessing for a "clinical signal" of effectiveness. To support dissemination and scale up, also during Aim 3, we will document implementation contexts to provide real-world insight. To do this, the investigators will conduct in-depth interviews with the same groups of stakeholders that we interviewed in Aim 1.

Listening to breath sounds with the stethoscope/auscultation is used by pulmonary physicians in conjunction with pulmonary function, signs and symptoms, oxygen saturation and diagnostic testing to admit, follow and discharge patients from hospital. Of these, only auscultation routinely ceases upon discharge from Hospital. Healthcare utilization statistics have shown that for more than a decade, readmission after discharge for an exacerbation of COPD or severe asthma (or chronic heart failure) remains a major problem. The Strados System has been designed to extend the range of lung sound recording both geographically and temporally to improve the standard of care when access to continuous monitoring has been replaced by periodic or no monitoring. The primary purpose of this study is to assess the clinical utility of the Strados System in enabling periodic recording and reviewing of breath sounds in patients with chronic respiratory diseases, either in the ICU, or in less continuously monitored settings, including after inpatient discharge.

This understanding will inform the development of community engagement strategies to be used in future interventions and studies aimed at addressing factors that impact the disproportionate burden of COVID-19 in under-served and vulnerable communities.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, university students have faced many challenges and without any preparation. Studies conducted during the first lockdown show an increase in unhealthy lifestyles. This study will be proposed to students from University of Nimes an 8-week physical activity program. Two groups will be constituted: the first will benefit from of innovative physical activity program on the base of the co-construction with users (Experimental Group), another that will not benefit from any intervention (Control Group). Investigators plan to include approximately 90 university students, 45 in each group. The main goal of the study is to propose innovative program to promote PA (Physical Activity) and reduce ST (Sedentary Time) of young adults aged over 18 from university of Nîmes. The levels of PA and ST of the experimental group will be compared to a control group with the realization of pre and post intervention measures.

The investigators aim to collect the current practices in India among physicians on antithrombotic therapy for hospitalised patients with COVID-19 and after discharge from the hospital.
