A proportion of patients with COVID-19 pneumonia have a prolonged course of illness. Some of these patients continue to have considerable respiratory symptoms or persistent hypoxemia. The CT abnormalities in these patients are often a combination of ground-glass opacities and patchy multifocal consolidation consistent with a pattern of OP. In several patients, these radiologic abnormalities persist. As with other forms of OP, patients with post-COVID OP or post COVID diffuse lung disease (PC-DLD) may benefit from treatment with oral glucocorticoids. The ideal dose of glucocorticoids for treating PC-DLD is unknown. Novel Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak seriously challenges worldwide health care systems. The current climate of anxiety due to COVID-19 and home confinement limiting access to emergency departments (ED) have induced an increase of phone calls to the emergency call center "15" medical advices. To determine if a pediatric telephone triage protocol may improve patient's pathways during COVID-19 outbreak, parental compliance is assessed after telephone advice, during and after home confinement (the end of home confinement in France was on May 11th 2020). From 14th April 2020 to 7th June 2020, all calls received by the platform of telephone calls at Children's Lenval Hospital during open hours and open days are collected. For each call, symptoms are recorded by trained physicians and trained residents using a telephonic triage tool through a directed interview. A medical orientation is recommended to parents at the end of their call. Follow-up are conducted 2 to 4 days after with their consent by telephone interview in order to evaluate their compliance

COVID19 pandemic and SARS-CoV-2 rapid progression worldwide are already historical landmarks of the 21st century owing to the magnitude of the event and the collective response that populations have adopted to face such threat. This menace has imposed an unprecedented reactivity to promptly deliver answers in various fields and specifically in termes of diagnostic capabilities. The very first tests to be used were based on PCR reactions and on deep nasopharyngeal sampling. But this has shown to be insufficient to prevent contaminations and limit the progression of the disease. This approach requires important infrastructure thus limiting the extent to which it can be delivered. Moreover, nasopharyngeal swab is highly intrusive and therefore is not suitable for repeated testing of asymptomatic patients in surveillance programs. Actual need is based on new tests offering new capabilities both in terms of wide range availability, ease of use and reduced time-to-result duration. Such tests, affordable and that can be performed outside the lab would ultimately relief pressure on healthcare workers and laboratory facilities as well as help test massively wide range of populations thus limiting viral dissemination Such innovating test device has been developped by the start-up "Grapheal" and the present study will ultimately demonstrate the feasibility of COVID-19 diagnostic using this test.

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 caused a health emergency of international proportions when it was declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) in January 2020. Since then, the virus has spread internationally and the WHO has classified the outbreak as a pandemic. In the context of the increasing reporting of this pandemic and the increasing governmental measures to limit or slow down the spread of SARS-CoV-2 by all means, there is so far little scientific evidence for the effects of a healthy lifestyle on the disease. The aim of this study is to compare the potential of different, possibly protective lifestyles using the example of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will conduct an online survey with 3.000 participants using mobile website technology.

The objective of the COVID-19 Vaccines International Pregnancy Exposure Registry (C-VIPER) is to evaluate obstetric, neonatal, and infant outcomes among women vaccinated during pregnancy with a COVID-19 vaccine. Specifically, the C-VIPER will estimate the risk of obstetric outcomes (spontaneous abortion, antenatal bleeding, gestational diabetes, gestational hypertension, intrauterine growth restriction, postpartum hemorrhage, fetal distress, uterine rupture, placenta previa, chorioamnionitis, Caesarean delivery, COVID-19), neonatal outcomes (major congenital malformations, low birth weight, neonatal death, neonatal encephalopathy, neonatal infections, neonatal acute kidney injury, preterm birth, respiratory distress in the newborn, small for gestational age, stillbirth, COVID-19), and infant outcomes (developmental milestones [motor, cognitive, language, social-emotional, and mental health skills], height, weight, failure to thrive, medical conditions during the first 12 months of life, COVID-19) among pregnant women exposed to single (homologous) or mixed (heterologous) COVID-19 vaccine brand series from 30 days prior to the first day of the last menstrual period to end of pregnancy and their offspring relative to a matched reference group who received no COVID-19 vaccines during pregnancy.

COVID-19 is associated with increased mortality, and has been linked to a 'cytokine inflammatory storm'. Populations at higher risk of COVID complications and mortality include the elderly, diabetic patients and immunocompromised patients (such as HIV), and the investigators have studied these 3 populations over the past 20 years and have found that they all have deficiency of the endogenous antioxidant protein glutathione (GSH), elevated oxidative stress, inflammation, impaired mitochondrial function, immune dysfunction, and endothelial dysfunction. It is known and established that GSH adequacy is necessary for neutralizing harmful oxidative stress, and that elevated oxidative stress appears to promote mitochondrial dysfunction. The combination of oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction have also been linked to inflammation, immune dysfunction, and endothelial dysfunction. In prior studies in aging, the investigators have also identified that supplementing glutathione precursor amino-acids glycine and cysteine (provided as N-acetylcysteine) improves GSH deficiency and mitochondrial function, and lowers oxidative stress, inflammation, and endothelial dysfunction. The investigators have coined the term GlyNAC to refer to the combination of glycine and N-acetylcysteine. This study will evaluate the prevalence and extent of these defects in patients with COVID-19 admitted to the hospital, and the response to supplementing GlyNAC or placebo for 2-weeks. Because patients with COVID-19 are also being reported to have fatigue and cognitive impairment, the investigators will also measure fatigue and cognition at admission, 1-week and 2-weeks after beginning supplementation. The supplementation is stopped after completing 2-weeks, and these outcomes will be measured again after 4-weeks and 8-weeks after stopping supplementation.
