SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), has negatively impacted global health and requires more research to develop better tests and to improve disease treatment. The purpose of this research is to aid in the testing effort by collecting samples from people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are suspected of having COVID-19. Samples you provide will be used investigationally by INanoBio to develop a test to determine when antibodies against various SARS-CoV-2 proteins are detectable. Up to approximately 80 subjects of all ages with either a suspected or lab-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 will take part in this research.

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of the administration of anti-SARS-CoV-2 convalescent plasma in COVID-19 patients who are sick enough to warrant hospitalization, but not yet admitted to the ICU (prior to the onset of overwhelming disease including a systemic inflammatory response, sepsis, and/or ARDS).
Baqiyatallah Medical Sciences University
180 people from the medical staff and high-risk people in Baqiyatallah Hospital, who are in close contact with patients, will enter the study. Participants will be divided into two intervention groups and one control group. The control group will use the full protective equipment assigned to the treatment staff. In addition to protective equipment, the first intervention team will receive a daily diet of 200 mg hydroxychloroquine tablets. The second intervention team, while observing and using the complete protective equipment, will place a thin layer of Mucodentol gel in the vestibular area of the mouth daily, every 6 to 8 hours. At the beginning of the treatment, qualified people will participate in the study while recording demographic and clinical information, PCR test will be performed, and if they have negative PCR, they will be in one of the 3 study groups. During the study, if the symptoms of the disease occur in each of the participants, the test will be taken again. If the test is positive, the person will withdraw from the study, and the patient's information will be recorded. Finally, the people present in the study will be tested for PCR, and the results of the disease and the side effects of the drugs will be compared.

This study aims to find out whether the use of angiotensin II, which is a drug to raise blood pressure has been approved by European Medical Agency in August 2019, as an add-on medication to increase blood pressure in patients with COVID-19, acute severe lung injury, inflammation and severe shock, compared with standard medication. In addition, the investigators will collect the data of Anakinra, another drug which is frequently used in this condition to reduce inflammation. The investigators will collect clinical data and outcomes from critical care patients. The investigators will analyse for whom these drugs are most beneficial and explore whether there are any patients who don't benefit or have side effects.

There is no known definite treatment after exposure to SARS-CoV-2, but the some animal and clinical trials confirmed the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) or chloroquine against SARS-CoV-2. Thus, in this study, we aim to evaluate the efficacy and safety of hydroxychloroquine as post exposure prophylaxis for SARS-CoV-2. - Primary end point: comparison the rate of COVID-19 between PEP with HCQ and control group. - Secondary end point: Comparison of the rate of COVID-19 according to the contact level (time, place, degree of wearing personal protective equipment). - Safety comparison: Safety verification by identifying major side effects in the HCQ group."

The investigators plan to evaluate a strategy of chemoprophylaxis with hydroxyloquine (HCQ) against COVID-19 infection in patients diagnosed with an immunomediated inflammatory disease who are following a treatment with biological agents and / or Jak inhibitors. The strategy will be carried out through a randomised double blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial and will assess comparative rates of infection (prevalence, incidence), severity including mortality, impact on clínical course of the primary diseases and toxicity. Such evaluation will require prospective surveillance to assess the different end-points. Drug interventions in this protocol will follow the Spanish law about off-label use of medicines.

The objective of this trial is to evaluate the efficacy of HCQ in patients with newly diagnosed COVID-19 who have mild to moderate disease or at risk for complications. We aim to demonstrate decrease in progression to severe pneumonia and hospital related complications among patients who are treated with HCQ compared to patients who are not.

Acute lung injury represents the most severe form of the viral infection sustained by coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) also named as SARS-CoV-2, a new virus emerged in December 2019 in Wuhan (China). The diagnosis is clinical and patients develop flu-like syndrome with fever and cough; patients with clinical symptoms can perform a swab test, including molecular and/or antigen swab, for diagnosis of positivity to Covid-19. Even if diagnosis and treatment are well described, to date, this viral pandemic infection induces an increased mortality in the world. The aim of the present project is to evaluate specific biomarkers that could be used for patient stratification and for tailor therapy in COVID-19 infected patients.
