This longitudinal study investigates the prevalence of mental health problems and the quality of life of healthcare workers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Underlying risk factors are also examined. Health care workers of the different Covid-19 cohort and transit wards, as well as the intensive care unit and (psychiatric) emergency services of the Ghent university hospital will be included, as well as the health care workers of 6 non-Covid-19 wards.

This study will perform prospective repeated serological antibody testing on a cohort of at least 1000 healthcare workers at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Within this cohort, a subset of 150-250 staff members with confirmed (PCR positive) SARS-CoV-2 disease will be followed with intensive monthly testing for 6 months to determine whether antibody levels in the blood are maintained or decrease during this time. In this study, the investigators propose to administer clazakizumab to patients with life-threatening Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection manifest by pulmonary failure and a clinical picture consistent with a cytokine storm syndrome. This is a single-center randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in which 30 patients will be enrolled and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to two study arms and receive clazakizumab at a dose of 25 mg or placebo.

The purpose of the current study is to investigate how the quarantine effects of psychosocial factors, quality of life, sleep, nutrition and physical activity in patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain. Pancreatic cancer (PC) is recognized as one of the most challenging tumors to deal with and it is still characterized by a poor long-term prognosis. However, treatment of PC in high-volume centers with the support of a multidisciplinary approach has widely demonstrated improvement both in terms of short- and long-term outcomes. The recent worldwide spread of Covid-19 pandemic significantly affected the healthcare systems of most countries in the world, particularly in red areas such as Italy, with more than 100.000 cases in a two-month time lapse. This inevitably reflected in a reorganization of hospital activities, including the diagnostic and therapeutic pathways for PC treatment. With the aim of giving an objective and real representation of the impact of Covid-19 on PC treatment, the investigator here propose a multicenter Italian observational study comparing a 6-month period before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Only high-volume centers will be involved in the study. A comparison between the general, clinical, endoscopic and surgical outcomes will be performed by means of a global and month-by-month analysis between the two study periods.
