The aim of the ECCES study is to find out whether these manifestations of chilblains can be linked to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. For this, an epidemiologic study will compare two types of family (or more precisely people who were confined together in March-April-May): - "case family" in which at least one of the members had chilblains - "comparator family" in which none of the members had chilblains Environment (home lockdown) of the two types of family will be analyzed. Each member of the "family" will be suggested doing a serological test.

This has led to extensive changes in the therapy processes, including a reduction in group sizes and maintaining distances within the groups, resulting in a reduction in the range of therapies available to individuals, since the number of employees remains unchanged and cannot be increased at will and in the short term due to the lack of qualified staff. In order for the treatment/rehabilitation goals to be achieved nonetheless, new forms of implementation of therapy programs must be developed in addition to organizational adjustments. Digitalization can be a significant support in this respect. The majority of patients in psychosomatic rehabilitation possess smartphones, meaning that the necessary infrastructure for the utilization of digital offers is available and can be used to the greatest possible extent. The use of digital measures within the therapeutic services supports the independence of the patients, as they can use the digital offers independently and flexibly in their own time. How should Health care/rehabilitation services be designed in light of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and which services have the potential to buffer future crises: What general recommendations can be derived for the design of such services for routine care? What are support measures to encourage social participation and return to work?

This is a phase 1/2a study including 2 parts, phase 1 and phase 2a. The phase 1 part is an open-label, single-arm, dose-escalating study to evaluate the safety and explore the dose limiting toxicity and maximum tolerated dose of a human umbilical cord derived mesenchymal stem cell product (BX-U001) in severe COVID-19 pneumonia patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Qualified subjects after the screening will be divided into low, medium, or high dose groups to receive a single intravenous infusion of BX-U001 at the dose of 0.5×10^6, 1.0×10^6, or 1.5×10^6 cells/kg of body weight, respectively. The Phase 2a part is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical trial examining the safety and biological effects of BX-U001 at the appropriate dose selected from phase 1 for severe COVID-19 pneumonia patients with the same inclusion/exclusion criteria as the phase 1 part.

The study will be a randomized, partially-blinded, prime-boost, staggered dose-escalation Phase 1 study intended to assess the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of the Coronavirus-Like Particle COVID-19 Vaccine at three dose levels (3.75 µg, 7.5 µg, and 15 µg VLP) unadjuvanted or adjuvanted with either CpG 1018 or AS03 in healthy adults 18 to 55 years of age, who have been tested for the absence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. At each dose level, the vaccine will initially be administered to a small number of subjects. Vaccinations of the first 6 subjects at the lowest dose level will be staggered so that each vaccination must be performed at least 30 minutes apart. Vaccination of the remaining subjects at the same dose level and the next higher vaccine dose level will be administered with approval of the Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC). The same process will be followed for the second vaccine administration. All subjects will be followed for a period of 12 months after the second administration of the vaccine for safety and immunogenicity testing at the end of the follow-up period.

Providing an efficient care to the patients of the most severely affected category - intensive care unit (ICU) patients - has become one of the serious problems appearing in the COVID-19 pandemics. A typical patient's clinical portrait in ICU of COVID centers is very similar in different countries, however, the key to improve the treatment results for critically ill patients has not yet been found. Data on predictors of severe course in COVID-19 is limited. Knowledge of predictors of severe course of disease can lead to different selection of therapeutic strategy, determine the group of risk of patients for severe course of disease, and improve outcomes.
