The survey consists of questions about care structures and their utilisation that psychosomatic, psychiatric and psychological C&L services have established in acute hospitals in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic.

In line with BRAC's overall goals to limit the COVID19 transmission, BRAC has constructed 1,000 handwashing stations coupled with other supports i.e. in-person demonstration, hygiene meetings, and soap distribution in Bangladesh. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of public handwashing stations (HWSs) on people's hygiene behavior and health outcomes in response to the COVID-19 situation. For this, at the household level, we will collect information on self-reported handwashing practices, income, health status, and HWSs along with other relevant socio-demographic variables in detail. In addition, we will observe people's mobility, mask usage at public places, and the HWSs usage; and will associate the observed HWSs usage with their self-reported health outcomes. This study will conduct surveys on households (7,760) and public (5,820) in 20 sub-districts of Mymensingh, Khulna, and Dhaka divisions. Overall, this study is expected to directly benefit study participants and their communities by unveiling new evidence to inform BRAC's existing hygiene behavioral change programming in these communities. In addition, this information will yield future societal benefits by generating evidence on how to effectively implement and disseminate infrastructure and information that people can trust, believe, and use to form healthy hygiene habits.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has resulted in millions of hospital admissions. The physical consequences caused by COVID-19 hospitalization could jeopardize the overall health status of patients through a decrease in functional capacity. A therapeutic exercise program may reduce the adverse effects of COVID-19 on functional capacity and thereby improve the overall health status of these patients. The objectives of this project are 1) to analyze the effect of a therapeutic exercise program in patients who have been hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for COVID-19. Single-blind randomized clinical trial. 118 patients post-ICU for COVID-19 will be randomized into an intervention group and a control group. The intervention group will perform a therapeutic exercise program for eight weeks in telematic modality. Functional capacity will be analyzed using the grip strength, Short Physical Performance Battery, gait speed, lower extremity strength and the FRAIL scale at baseline, eight and twelve weeks. The main statistical analysis will be a comparison of means for independent samples assessing the effect of the intervention. Given the high prevalence of patients hospitalized for COVID-19, establishing strategies to minimize the adverse effects of the virus on patients is a must for the healthcare setting. Assessing physical condition after COVID-19 will allow the magnitude of the problem to be established. Physiotherapy, through therapeutic exercise, could improve physical fitness in these patients and thus improve the overall health status after COVID-19.

Severe Covid-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) infections generate major but inappropriate production of cytokines and, in some cases, generate anti-IFN (Interferon) auto-antibodies, inducing acute respiratory distress syndrom (ARDS). Therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) have been reported to be efficient for improving the hyperinflammatory condition state and the respiratory function, which has been described in case reports or small series. The study aims to remove cytokines during cytokine storm and anti-IFN auto-antibodies (when present) to prevent developpement of an inappropriate immune response and to improve the clinical response to reanimation treatment, in particular the respiratory parameters leading to a rapid improvement of clinical status. To that aim, the study investigates to compare a treatment using TPE plus usual treatments in intensive care unit (experimental arm) versus usual treatments in intensive care unit (routine arm) in a randomised trial.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected global health systems and required healthcare professionals to show high performance. In this process, the mental health of intensive care nurses, who undertake the biggest burden in health systems, is negatively affected by the high working hours and patient care burden during the pandemic. When the literature is reviewed, pessimistic thinking, feeling hopeless and not enjoying life at more exacerbated levels can be observed in intensive care nurses. It is concluded that studies are needed to increase the motivation of intensive care nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic.In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the effect of motivational messages on optimism, hopelessness and life satisfaction of intensive care nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The main objective of the study is to describe the temporal curve of COVID-19 IgG and neutralizing antibodies over 24 months in an identified population of patients who presented with SARS-CoV-2 virus infection. The secondary objectives are to characterize the kinetics of the antibodies according to the severity of the clinical presentation and patient's characteristics and to determine if the anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies retain their neutralizing capacity over time. A sub-study aims to describe the kinetic of neutralizing antibodies (in blood and nasal mucosa) after vaccination.

Subjects (125) will be randomized to one of five mouthrinses and will be asked to give a saliva sample immediately before and after a 30-60 second mouthwash. Saliva samples will be collected from subjects at 15-minute intervals thereafter up to one hour (15, 30, 45 and 60 min). The saliva will be used for RT-PCR detection of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CoronaVirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and viral infectivity assays, along with quantitative cytokine and chemokine concentration (pg/mL, Luminex). Subjects will complete a short survey on the taste and experience of using the mouthwash. Peripheral blood will be collected at the end of salivary collection. Subjects, except controls, will be provided materials and oral hygiene instruction related to daily use of oral hygiene products. In the seven-day period between study visit one and study visit two, subjects will be directed to brush with Colgate toothpaste (at least twice per day) and rinse with the Colgate mouthrinse (according to on-label procedures). Controls are asked to carry out their typical oral hygiene regimen with the products they typically use. All subjects keep a daily diary of oral hygiene performance, product usage, COVID-19 symptoms and exposures. Subjects complete study visit two one week after the baseline visit during which additional salivary (1 time point, 2 mL of saliva over 5 min, no rinse) will occur and blood samples collected. each subject will undergo a periodontal exam.
